The Bing Maps App for Office can graphically display, on a Bing Map, location and numeric data contained in your Access 2013 Web App. Settings allow you to choose how this data is displayed and you can select which data items are displayed.
Connecting to the Data: Once you have added the Bing Maps App to the runtime of your Access 2013 Web App, you will see a default map embedded into your view. You can select location and numeric data from your view’s current data source or another data source within your app.
Data visualization: You can also select related columns containing data that you want to visualize on the map. If a single numeric column is specified, locations are plotted with different sized circles. If multiple additional columns are selected, you have the option to either plot them as multiple circles or a pie chart. This can be controlled by clicking on settings icon on the top right.
Map Controls: You can use the map controls displayed on the top left to pan in a direction or to zoom in/out. Alternatively you can also zoom the map using your mouse or touch. Map view can be changed from settings to either road or birds eye. You can also have the map show a single data point based on the currently selected record.
